Rev Oscar Brockmeyer

Rev. Oscar Brockmeyer has spent 35 years helping people deepen their spiritual lives. He has over 20 years of experience as an individual and group spiritual companion (spiritual director). For 23 years, he served as a Congregational church pastor in the United Church of Christ (UCC), and for 6 years he was the executive director of the nondenominational Spiritual Life Center in Hartford, CT, USA. During a span of 16 years, he helped train over 100 persons to be spiritual companions. Supervision for spiritual service professionals is one of his specialties, and he has been providing this service for 18 years.

He guides individuals and groups through the process of promoting justice in spiritually informed ways, and helping people discern the paths they will walk in life is a passion of his. His master's degrees in Divinity, Counseling, and Social Work support all these activities.

He enjoys his perennial gardens and painting with oil colors. He and his spouse, Ren, live in northeast Connecticut, not far from their two adult children and six grandchildren.
