 We invite spiritual directors and companions, both new and seasoned, to join us for this contemplative workshop experience. Rooted in the Benedictine tradition, this workshop will help participants recognize the subtle inner movements that shape their responses. Come cultivate a receptive, grounded posture that encourages the seeker's own wisdom to emerge.

This program will benefit anyone who wants to deepen presence and notice where they might steer the directee. As a participant, you will discover how acceptance, silence, curiosity, and trust create a spacious environment for authentic discernment. Together we will explore the "inner realm," learn to distinguish five types of companion responses, and try out approaches that help the seeker stay close to their own unfolding experience. Guided exercises, paired practice, and reflection on real plays will enhance our learning. You will return home with a clearer sense of your own tendencies, a deeper appreciation for the seeker's innate spiritual resources, and a renewed reliance on the Spirit's liberating movements.
