Demystifying Islam
With Aida Monsoor
Tuesday 3/24, 6:00 Pm - 8:00 Pm
At the Spiritual Life Center
76 Sherman st in the West End of Hartford, with a Zoom option available.
In a world shaped by misunderstanding and distance between
Traditions, this gathering offers an opportunity to learn about Islam through a more human and relational lens. Together we will explore core beliefs, spiritual practices, and everyday expressions of Muslim life, with the hope of deepening understanding, respect, and connection across religious differences.
This program invites participants to recognize our shared longing
for meaning, compassion, and faithfulness, and to see one another more clearly as companions on a common human journey.
Aida Monsoor has been offering educational programs on Islam
and Muslim communities since 1999, including presentations on
Islamic spirituality, women in Islam, and Muslim lived experience.
Cost:
Bridge Builder: $45
Pathwalker: $35
Open Door: $25
