Finding Flow:

Quiet Your Mind and Experience God in Everyday Life

A Workshop with Author & Spiritual Director Birna Plachta

Saturday, 10/4

9:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Via Zoom

Many people long for a deeper day-to-day experience of God, but their minds are often busy, distracted, and overwhelmed. The Christian contemplative tradition offers a simple and time-tested path for quieting the mind, opening the heart, and learning how to experience God's loving presence in everyday life.

In this virtual workshop, author and spiritual director Brian Plachta will introduce Divine Flow, a practical spiritual path rooted in the contemplative tradition. Through teaching, guided quiet time, and personal reflection, Brian will invite you into the practices that form the foundation of a contemplative life: stillness, spiritual reading, community, and the discovery of your own spiritual gifts. These are not ideas to study; they are ways of being to experience, and you will leave with simple, practical tools to carry them into your daily life.

The goal is not to learn about God, but to create space to experience God's love in the ordinary moments of everyday life. To move from knowing about God to living with God.
