With spring well underway, the Spiritual Life Center invites you to celebrate this time of renewal at its annual Luncheon and Fundraiser/ Silent Auction, featuring the inspiration and sacred music of Rev. Simon Ruth de Voil. 


Perhaps you know Simon from his collaboration with Christine Valters Paintner, or you’ve taken part in his forest bathing retreats, or experienced his Birdsong Vespers. Even if Simon is new to you, be prepared to receive and be transported by Simon’s sacred gifts of reflection and song which transcends the boundaries of tradition. Join us in embracing the season's spirit of awakening as we gather in community, and  savor a delicious luncheon catered by our own spiritual companion Kelly Mehiel. You'll also be able to peruse our silent auction and bid on a curated selection of items including: Artwork, crafts, pottery, and so much more.


This annual event is more than just a fundraiser; it's a chance to join fellow seekers on the spiritual journey in your support of the Spiritual Life Center in our new home.  All proceeds from the event will support the Center's ongoing mission of accompanying individuals from all walks of life in their pursuit of a deeper spiritual connection.  For over 40 years, the Spiritual Life Center has embraced inter-spiritual values, welcoming individuals of all backgrounds and beliefs.  We believe that the path to deeper meaning and connection is unique for every individual, and we offer an attentive space for exploration and growth.

Reverend Simon Ruth de Voil is an ordained interfaith/inter-spiritual minister, trained to be a sacred presence outside the conventions of traditional religion. As a sacred musician, spiritual mentor and worship leader he incorporates chant, ritual, poetry, storytelling, and mindful practice to create a space for profound connection and sacred witness. Simon provides music for worship, ceremony, and prayer in a wide variety of churches and non-religious spiritual communities. He particularly loves to create music for meditation, healing services, and rites of passage.


Simon draws  15 years of study, training, and practice that grew from his time living and working in Iona Abbey. Although influenced by many traditions, Simon's spiritual path and teaching is deeply rooted in Celtic Christianity, the wisdom of the earth, and in the Scottish land where he's spent most of his life.
