Born on a Blue Day by Daniel Tammet, Free Press, 2006

This memoir sub-titled Inside the Extraordinary Mind of an Autistic Savant, is the simple and poignant story of the young man who has become known as Brainman for his rare ability to see and work with numbers.  It is the network of relationships, particularly within his family, that ground him and empower him to grow.

Radical Amazement by Judy Cannato, Sorin Books, 2006

With clear prose, reflection questions and suggestions for meditation, Judy Cannato blends the gifts of the new science and the perennial connection with the Mystery of God. The universe story becomes the opening for a new understanding of Jesus as the Light of the world and our call to become light for the world.

Glimpses of the Spirit, a collection of community poems, prayers, reflections, photography and art to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Spiritual Life Center, 1982-2007.

This booklet contains some of the remarkable glimpses of the Spirit within our community.  Our members share some of the ordinary and extraordinary moments in their lives where they were caught by mystery.  Their awareness and reflection led them to create in word and image something of what touched their souls.

Copies are available at the office for a donation of $5.00.
